Job summary

Comfort Healthcare Centers is seeking an experienced Staffing Coordinator to join our team. You will partner with Human Resources to recruit, source, and hire qualified caregivers and design staffing plans that meet patient care needs.

This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, the ability to create shift schedules for RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, and to generate reports for leadership. We offer comprehensive benefits and a supportive work environment.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Staffing Coordinator to join our team!

As our Staffing Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring that our company's staffing needs are met.
You will work with Human Resources department and assist in recruiting, sourcing and hiring qualified individuals.

Job Duties and Reponsibilities

• Plan, organize and implement a sustainable staffing strategy.
• Design and plan work shift schedules for our Rn, Lpn and Cna's
• Create daily staffing assignments
• Investigate company's staffing needs and take actions to staff accordingly, working with Nursing Administration as needed.
• Identify hard to fill roles and take proactive actions
• Assist in candidate screening and interviewing
• Assist in new employee onboarding
• Evaluate new staff
• Assist with new employee orientation
• Assist with yearly evaluations of nursing staff
• Create, present and submit reports for DON and NHA as requested
• Other duties as necessary

Qualifications

• Experience as a Staffing Coordinator or similar role
• Knowledge of staffing trends and best practices
