Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Staff Systems Engineer for Anduril Maritime to lead the technical strategy across subsea systems and AUVs. You will coordinate with engineers, vendors, and partners to ensure integrated hardware and software delivery for military applications.

You will influence proposals, drive system requirements, and supervise a team through all program phases from pre-award to production, balancing performance, cost, and schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience architecting, developing, and delivering defense/maritime hardware and software systems.
• Ability to decompose complex systems into executable requirements meeting government expectations.
• Experience with qualification testing and acceptance testing standards.
• Familiarity with US government maritime mission areas and CONOPS for missions enabling warfighters.
• Design and development of detailed maritime solutions including AUVs and payloads.
• Strong technical communication for briefings to leadership and customers.
• Solid fundamentals in maritime systems and support equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise across AUV subsystems to advance maritime product capabilities.
• Collaborate with partners to build new products meeting customer requirements.
• Refine maritime business line and capture strategies with PoR.
• Contribute technical inputs to proposals and engineering plans.
• Manage full system requirements generation and validation.
• Oversee a multi-disciplinary team through all program phases to delivery.
• Conduct mission/system level trade studies balancing risk, cost, and performance.
