Job summary

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company seeking a Staff Systems Engineer to develop a technical strategy and roadmap for Anduril Maritime, addressing pre-award demonstrations through full-rate production of Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) systems. You will coordinate with the Chief Engineer and Growth/Strategy leads to deliver hardware and software solutions for military customers.

Qualifications

• Experience architecting, developing, and delivering defense/IC maritime hardware and software systems.
• Ability to decompose complex systems into executable requirements to meet government expectations.
• Experience with qualification and acceptance testing standards.
• Experience with U.S. government maritime mission areas and CONOPS.
• Design and development of detailed mission solutions for AUVs and payloads.
• Strong technical communication skills for briefings to leadership, company leadership, and customers.
• Strong fundamentals in maritime systems, ashore infrastructure, support equipment.
• Technical experience leading U.S. Government contracts.
• TS/SCI Eligible.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise across multiple AUV subsystems to advance maritime product capabilities.
• Leverage strategic partnerships to build out new products for customer requirements.
• Provide maritime industry expertise to refine strategy.
• Contribute technical inputs to proposals and execution plans.
• Manage the generation, maintenance and validation of full system requirements.
• Provide oversight to a multi-disciplinary engineering team through all program phases.
• Perform mission and system level trade studies balancing risk, cost, and performance.
