Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking Software Engineers for its Maritime Division to drive autonomous software across perception, simulation, data processing, payload integration, and off-board control. You will own end-to-end software components, mentor teammates, and contribute to a system-of-systems approach for maritime missions.

The role emphasizes architecture-driven delivery, scalable services, and collaboration with hardware teams. A U.S. Secret clearance is required or eligible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
• Extensive professional experience as a Software Engineer across domains/technologies
• Systems and/or application programming skills: algorithms, data structures, concurrency, scaling, testing, infrastructure, design, and system design
• Experience troubleshooting and analyzing remotely deployed software systems
• Ability to act as technical owner for a software service, including requirements, roadmap, and evolution
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance

Responsibilities

• Empathize with end‑users and balance their needs with constraints in a multi‑stakeholder environment
• Own software solutions deployed to customers, optimizing value delivery
• Design and implement scalable software with a clear path for architecture and capability evolution
• Contribute to design and development of reusable software components across Anduril products
• Develop software for on‑ and off‑ robotic platforms using various technologies
• Support vehicle and mission software development lifecycle, testing, monitoring and operation
• Create test and simulation fixtures for software- and hardware-in-the-loop
• Support vehicle manufacturing and deployment
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams

Education
