Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks a Staff Systems Engineer to lead the technical strategy for the Anduril Maritime line, aligning hardware and software for Navy missions, pre‑award to full‑rate production. You will guide a multi‑disciplinary team across proposals, design reviews, and test to deliver autonomous underwater vehicle systems.

The role requires strong systems engineering, government program experience, and clear communication with leadership and customers.

Qualifications

Experience architecting, developing, and delivering defense/military maritime hardware and software systems.
Ability to decompose complex systems into executable requirements to meet government expectations.
Experience with qualification and acceptance testing standards.
Experience with US government maritime mission areas and CONOPS.
Design and development of mission solutions including AUVs and payloads.
Strong technical communication to leadership, peers, and customers.
Strong fundamentals in maritime systems, ashore infrastructure, and supporting equipment.
Technical experience leading US Government contracts.
TS/SCI eligibility.
Active TS/SCI eligibility; weapons safety/process experience.

Responsibilities

Provide technical expertise across multiple AUV subsystems to advance product capabilities.
Leverage strategic partnerships to build out new products for mission areas.
Provide maritime industry expertise to refine business strategy and capture.
Contribute technical inputs to proposals and engineering execution plans.
Manage generation, maintenance, and validation of full system requirements.
Oversee a multi‑disciplinary team through all program phases to delivery and operation.
