Ladders is seeking a Staff Site Reliability Engineer, Tools & Systems to join our team in the Consumer Technology space. This role focuses on building and operating systems and developer tooling at scale to boost engineering productivity and reliability.

You will shape technical strategy using telemetry, own complex problems end-to-end, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize performance and cost efficiency across critical workflows.

Qualifications

• Strong programming skills in Python or JavaScript/TypeScript; familiarity with C++ or Rust is a plus.
• Experience deploying and operating production systems in cloud environments using infrastructure as code such as Terraform.
• Knowledge across CI/CD, containers, orchestration, networking, databases, and observability.
• Ability to use data, telemetry, and metrics for problem investigation and decision-making.
• Familiarity with modern AI-assisted development tools and their appropriate applications.

Responsabilités

• Design, build, deploy, and operate software and systems for engineering workflows.
• Contribute to developer tooling, CI/CD, workflow automation, and AI-assisted development tools.
• Own complex technical problems end-to-end, improving reliability, performance, and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address technical and organizational challenges.
• Use telemetry and metrics to analyze issues and inform engineering decisions.
• Contribute to architectural and technical strategy, identifying and solving recurring problems.
