Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer II to join a leader in Consumer Technology. This remote, United States–based role focuses on building and supporting reliable, scalable infrastructure powering large-scale consumer experiences.

You will partner with engineering teams to improve uptime, streamline operations, and automate workflows, deployment, and monitoring practices for better performance and availability. 2–4 years in SRE/DevOps and IaC experience are required.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in systems/infrastructure, SRE or DevOps.
• Strong understanding of TCP networking with CDN, DNS and CloudNAT.
• Hands-on Linux server administration for high availability.
• Experience analyzing logs and metrics to diagnose issues.
• Familiarity with GCP or AWS and VM autoscaling.
• Proficiency with Terraform and configuration tools like Chef/Ansible.
• Fluency in Go, Python, PHP, or Ruby.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement scalable, maintainable systems across the infrastructure stack.
• Support daily operations of large-scale applications, including monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Automate upgrade procedures for operating systems and core applications.
• Manage core infrastructure aspects like asset delivery and async compute processing.
• Automate repetitive tasks to reduce team workload.
• Create processes for teams to deploy, manage, and monitor applications effectively.
• Identify and implement improvements for application reliability and availability.
