Ladders is seeking a Staff Site Reliability Engineer, Tools & Systems to join our team in the Consumer Technology space. This role focuses on building and operating systems and developer tooling at scale to boost engineering productivity and reliability.

You will shape technical strategy using telemetry, own complex problems end-to-end, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize performance and cost efficiency across critical workflows.

Qualifications

• Strong programming skills in Python or JavaScript/TypeScript; familiarity with C++ or Rust is a plus.
• Experience deploying and operating production systems in cloud environments using infrastructure as code such as Terraform.
• Knowledge across CI/CD, containers, orchestration, networking, databases, and observability.
• Ability to use data, telemetry, and metrics for problem investigation and decision-making.
• Familiarity with modern AI-assisted development tools and their appropriate applications.

For our client, we are seeking a Staff Site Reliability Engineer, Tools & Systems to join the team of a leader in the Consumer Technology space.

This role will focus on building and operating the systems and developer tooling that support software engineering productivity at scale. You will help improve reliability, performance, and cost efficiency across critical engineering workflows while partnering closely with teams across the organization. The position also plays an important role in shaping technical strategy, using telemetry and data to drive decisions and solve recurring problems.

Location: Remote
Compensation: $128,000 – $171,000 annually
