Ladders is seeking an Application Engineer - DevOps & Engineering Tools to support deployment and reliability of enterprise software in cloud and on‑prem environments. The role centers on DevSecOps-enabled delivery, automation, and tooling to help engineering teams build, test, and release software efficiently.

You will partner with engineering, support, and leadership to improve service stability, strengthen compliance, and modernize legacy platforms while working remotely.

Competenze

• 8+ years of relevant experience or an advanced degree with 5+ years.
• Strong Linux system administration skills.
• Experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Podman.
• Ability to develop automation scripts in Bash, Python, or Perl.
• Troubleshooting skills in network and Web concepts.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a government security clearance.

Mansioni

• Deploy and support enterprise software in cloud and on-premises environments using DevSecOps principles.
• Develop and maintain automation and orchestration scripts for software deployment.
• Configure and maintain cybersecurity and compliance for hosted solutions.
• Assist engineering teams with build and test pipeline support and optimization.
• Resolve application service incidents and collaborate with helpdesk teams.
• Plan and execute migrations from legacy systems to modern platforms.
• Develop enterprise solution architectures and present metrics to leadership.
• Implement service monitoring tools to enhance operations and uptime.
