Job summary

Temporal Technologies is seeking a Solutions Architect to lead customer-facing technical engagements within the Majors team (West). You will guide prospects on applying Temporal’s platform, showcase its cloud advantages, and help customer teams expand production use cases while shaping technical strategy with key decision-makers.

You will collaborate with sales and engineering, write reference architectures, and travel up to 50% to drive opportunities and ensure long-term customer success.

Qualifications

• Experience with distributed systems design and production deployments.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience guiding customers in platform adoption and architectural decisions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with prospects to determine fit for Temporal’s platform.
• Educate customers on technical benefits and limitations of Temporal’s platform and cloud service.
• Position Temporal as an enterprise standard against competing technologies and patterns.
• Foster adoption and expansion of Temporal in customer production environments.
• Partner with Account Executives to develop and execute account plans for new and existing opportunities.
• Manage relationships with technical decision-makers to maximize adoption of Temporal’s capabilities.
• Create reusable technical assets, reference architectures, playbooks, and demos for other Solutions Architects.
• Travel 25-50%.
