Job summary

Temporal Technologies is seeking a Solutions Architect to be the primary customer-facing technical leader for the Majors team (East). You will guide prospects in assessing fit, demonstrate the platform’s technical advantages, and help customer teams expand production applications using Temporal.

In this role you will own technical relationships with key decision-makers, shape architectural guidance, and collaborate with sales to drive strategic plans.

Qualifications

• Exceptional technical communication across engineering and executive audiences.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, design principles, and best practices.
• Experience shaping architectural patterns and platform architectures.
• Proficiency in building prototypes and providing design, development, and deployment guidance.
• Experience with at least one major cloud provider and related services.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with prospects to determine fit for Temporal’s platform.
• Educate customers on technical benefits and limitations of the platform and cloud service.
• Position Temporal against competing technologies and patterns.
• Foster adoption and expansion of Temporal in production environments.
• Partner with Account Executives to drive account plans and long-term success.
• Manage relationships with technical decision-makers and ensure full value realization.
• Create reusable assets, reference architectures, playbooks, and demos for others.
• Travel expected to be 25-50%.
