Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• OOP software development in C++ and/or Java.
• Experience leading Agile software development teams.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Experience developing C++ real-time, multi-threaded, distributed software.
• U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain secret/top secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the program's Software Engineering Lead and primary representative for the RMS Software Engineering discipline.
• Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing agile software teams.
• Ensure software engineering disciplines are represented across IPTs/Agile Teams.
• Support software engineers in resolving technical and staffing challenges.
• Own the software architecture roadmap and technical strategy.
• Guide development of scalable, maintainable software architectures.
