Job summary

You will lead cross-functional teams, influence proposals, and ensure delivery of robust software for fielded systems, with emphasis on fast, reliable execution and high engineering standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Software/Computer Engineering, CS or related field is required.
• 12+ years of relevant technical experience.
• 3+ years of leading teams and managing software development resources.
• Experience with multiple programming languages (C/C++/Rust/Java/C#) and OO design.
• Proven track record delivering released software products or simulations.
• Familiar with software reviews, requirements, architectures and testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead a Software IPT across technical functions to deliver integrated solutions.
• Oversee development from high-level applications to embedded software and hardware.
• Contribute to proposals with technical solutions, estimates, and staffing needs.
• Communicate with customers and stakeholders regularly to align on priorities.
• Influence positive outcomes and support fielded systems for defense missions.
