Job summary

Rula is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join the Partnerships Referrals & Conversions team. You will shape scalable referral systems, partner data management, and patient booking experiences.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with product and design, and leverage AI-assisted tooling to accelerate delivery while managing risk. You will lead cross-team technical projects, design durable architectures, and push for reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of modern application design architecture and API design patterns.
• Experience designing and evolving system architectures weighing tradeoffs.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience leading complex technical projects across teams.
• Fluency with AI-assisted development tools and evaluating their impact.

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve durable systems behind referral management and partner data.
• Lead and mentor engineers, removing blockers and raising technical bar.
• Collaborate with PMs, designers, and other engineers to align technical decisions with business goals.
• Deliver software that improves how partners refer patients and how patients experience care.
