Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).
• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, data pipelines, and database management.
• Strong expertise in AWS services such as S3, Glue, and DynamoDB.
• Hands-on experience with data integration tools such as Fivetran.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala.
• Experience with containerized workloads and Kubernetes.
• Excellent communication for cross-functional collaboration.

For our client, we are seeking a Staff Software Engineer - Onboarding and Migrations to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.

This role will focus on building scalable software that supports customer onboarding and data migration experiences within a fast-paced financial technology environment. You will partner closely with engineering, data, and product stakeholders to deliver reliable platform capabilities that improve performance, data quality, and deployment efficiency. The position also involves mentoring junior engineers and helping drive technical excellence across server-side systems, APIs, and cloud infrastructure.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $156,800 – $196,000 annually
