Huxley is hiring a Senior Software Engineer, Data Platform for a fully remote role in the United States. You will scale the firm’s core data infrastructure, build scalable ingestion pipelines, and develop APIs to support data workflows.

The role emphasizes ownership, performance, and collaboration with leadership to drive data-driven decisions. Ideal candidates bring expert Python skills, experience with Snowflake, Dagster, and cloud data infra, plus a strong sense for data quality and scalable

Key Skills & Experience

• Advanced Python Engineering: Expert-level Python development experience, including performance optimization, memory management, modular software design, and building reusable libraries and frameworks.
• Data Platform Development: Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining production-grade data platforms that support critical business functions.
• Data Pipelines & ETL/ELT: Strong experience creating scalable data ingestion frameworks, transformation pipelines, and batch-processing systems handling complex datasets.
• Backend Engineering: Ability to develop APIs, integrations, and backend services that power data workflows and internal applications.
• Modern Data Stack: Hands-on experience with Snowflake, SQL, Dagster, and cloud-based data infrastructure.
• Data Quality & Validation: Experience implementing monitoring, testing, validation, and anomaly detection processes to ensure accuracy and reliability.
