Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking an experienced Platform Portability Engineer to design portable cloud infrastructure and ship Claude across partner clouds. You will collaborate with Compute, Inference, and Security teams to ensure cross-provider consistency and scalable deployment patterns.

You’ll lead abstraction work for storage, messaging, and networking, and own end-to-end delivery including build, release, and validation pipelines.

Qualifications

• 8+ years building and operating production distributed systems.
• Experience running workloads across multiple cloud providers.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code.
• Ability to collaborate with cloud providers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and build portable infrastructure abstractions for storage, messaging, and connectivity across clouds.
• Own end-to-end delivery, build, release, and validation pipelines for Claude on partner clouds.
• Mentor engineers, review cloud-portability designs, and drive cross-cloud patterns.
• Contribute to on-call rotations, postmortems, runbooks, and incident response.
