Job summary

Anthropic is seeking an experienced Platform Portability engineer to design portable infrastructure and deploy Claude across multiple cloud providers. You will collaborate with internal Compute, Inference, and Security teams to ensure platform consistency and reliability.

You will own end-to-end delivery for cloud integrations, mentor teams on multi-cloud patterns, and improve infrastructure resilience through on-call and postmortems.

Qualifications

• 8+ years building and operating production distributed systems
• Experience running workloads across multiple cloud providers
• Knowledge of IAM models and cloud networking primitives across providers
• Proficiency in at least one general-purpose language (Python/Go/Rust)
• Experience with Kubernetes and IaC tooling

Responsibilities

• Design and build portable infrastructure abstractions for multi-cloud deployments
• Own delivery pipelines for Claude on partner clouds from build to validation
• Mentor engineers on multi-cloud patterns and drive cross-team initiatives
• Contribute to on-call rotations and postmortems to improve reliability
