Job summary

Anthropic is seeking a senior backend/platform engineer to advance the Claude Platform across cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure). You will drive cross-cloud integrations, security, and governance features to serve enterprise customers at scale.

Qualifications

8+ years of practical experience as a backend or platform engineer building scalable distributed systems.
Product-focused approach to platform work and making solutions robust, scalable, and easy to adopt.
Own large-scale infrastructure systems and lead ambiguous, cross-team technical projects from design through production.
Experience with cloud infrastructure (GCP, AWS, or Azure) at scale and/or Enterprise SaaS in a multi-tenant context, with security/compliance/data residency background.
Take full ownership from design through deployment and operations.
Proficient in Python, Go, Rust, or similar systems language.

Responsibilities

Claude Platform on the Clouds: make the Claude Platform a best-in-class offering on cloud providers’ platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Enterprise Readiness: ship enterprise enablement features to support regulated customers and scale with security, compliance, key management, audit APIs, and data residency.
