Johnson & Johnson MedTech in Boston, MA is seeking a Staff Software Engineer for the Infrastructure R&D team. You will architect and lead on-device medical software that securely connects to cloud for telemetry, command, control, and over-the-air updates.

You will collaborate with systems, hardware, firmware, quality, and regulatory partners to deliver safe, reliable software that directly impacts patient outcomes, with experience in C#, .NET, Windows targets, and cloud services.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree required in a relevant field.
• 7+ years of industry experience.
• 2+ years of leadership within Agile/Scrum.
• Strong full-stack C#/.NET skills and CS fundamentals.
• Experience with embedded Windows and IoT edge apps.
• Secure connected/IoT edge development and cloud integrations.
• Experience in regulated environments (SDLC, testing, traceability).
• Excellent communication and collaboration; able to travel to Boston.

Responsabilidades

• Architect major software features and develop execution plans.
• Define development timelines in product planning sessions.
• Build production-grade on-device apps in C#/.NET for Windows targets.
• Work with SQL/embedded databases; design schemas and optimize queries.
• Develop multi-threaded services with REST APIs and data stores.
• Design secure device-to-cloud connectivity and authenticated APIs.
• Apply secure coding for cybersecurity and patient safety in IoT contexts.
• Develop cloud backends in Azure or similar for telemetry and fleet ops.
• Drive software quality with tests, observability, and CI/CD.
• Contribute to regulatory documents and IEC/FDA guidance; support submissions.
• Collaborate in Agile/Scrum, mentor engineers, and lead code reviews.
