Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Infrastructure R&D, based in Boston, to lead development of high-performance, on-device medical software connected to cloud for telemetry and remote diagnostics. You will collaborate with systems, hardware, firmware, quality, and regulatory partners to deliver safe, scalable software impacting patient outcomes.

The role requires 5+ years in full-stack C#/.NET, embedded Windows, secure device-to-cloud connectivity, and SDLC in regulated

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/CE/EE required; Master’s a plus.
• 5+ years of relevant industry experience required.
• Strong proficiency in full-stack C#/.NET development.
• Experience with embedded Windows targets and IoT edge apps.
• Experience with secure device-to-cloud connectivity and TLS.

Responsibilities

• Build production-grade on-device applications in C#/.NET for Windows targets.
• Design secure device-to-cloud connectivity and implement secure storage and identities.
• Develop cloud-backed telemetry ingestion and fleet operations in Azure or equivalent.
• Contribute to regulatory documentation and V&V aligned with IEC 62304/ISO 14971.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in design/code reviews.
