Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in software development.
• Deep understanding of software architecture for real time systems.
• Experience shipping high‑quality safety‑critical products.
• Exceptional problem‑solving and analytical abilities with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in fast‑paced environments.
• Strong expertise building and maintaining production software systems.
• Large‑scale migration from Make to Bazel.
• AI‑assisted engineering workflows and productivity evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Lead software engineering productivity and effectiveness; identify opportunities and drive strategy.
• Mentor and coach teams, balancing technical depth with empathy.
• Modernize build and test systems by migrating to Bazel and enabling scalable infrastructure.
• Assess current workflows to define a phased Bazel migration strategy and rollout model.
• Design reusable Bazel rules, toolchains, and platforms; migrate embedded apps and firmware.
• Integrate Bazel with enterprise CI/CD, testing, release, and deployment workflows.
• Measure success by migration coverage, build parity, reliability, and developer feedback.
• Improve diagnosis and recovery time with strong artifact provenance and policy compliance.
