Job summary

The role requires real-time embedded software expertise, 15+ years in software development, and a track record shipping safety-critical automotive software; remote work with occasional GM hub visits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in software engineering or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of software development experience
- Deep understanding of real-time software architecture
- Experience shipping safety-critical automotive products
- Strong analytical and multi-project management skills
- Proficiency in Python and at least one more engineering language
Responsibilities
- Lead modernization of build and test systems and migrate to Bazel
- Define migration strategy with scalable, reproducible pipelines
- Design reusable Bazel rules, toolchains, and platforms
- Integrate Bazel with enterprise CI/CD and security workflows
- Mentor teams and drive measurable productivity improvements
- Ensure complete artifact provenance and policy compliance
