Job summary

Omada Health is hiring a Staff Software Engineer to expand cardiometabolic care platforms. This is early-stage, high-ownership work with end-to-end architecture ownership and a strong emphasis on shipping reliable systems.

You'll work primarily on the backend, collaborating cross-functionally with product, clinical teams, and data scientists to set technical direction across services, APIs, and deployments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience writing readable, tested, and efficient code.
• Experience with Ruby on Rails and relational databases.
• Designing scalable, secure APIs and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture and technical direction end to end for new member- and care team-facing experiences.
• Apply broad technical judgment across languages, frameworks, and systems; leverage AI-assisted tools.
• Lead and mentor engineers; set quality bar and ship reliably.
• Set 6–12 month technical direction and identify high-value work before it lands on the roadmap.
