Job summary

Omada Health is hiring an Engineering Manager to lead two squads focused on Omada’s Platform and Engineering Systems. You will own execution, shaping the roadmap, and guide on-call and audit processes while partnering with AI-powered engineers to ship in production.

You will manage relationships across Engineering, Product, Design, IT, InfoSec, Legal, Compliance, Procurement, and more, while overseeing multi-million-dollar vendor budgets and critical contracts.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software engineering, including 2+ years managing engineers
• Proven track record shipping mission-critical software to production
• Ability to build roadmaps, plan capacity, and negotiate with stakeholders
• Experience guiding prioritization and estimation for a team
• Hands-on with AI-enabled development and production changes
• Strong CI/CD, logging, monitoring, and telemetry practices
• Security-minded design and strong written communication

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a growing software engineering squad across platforms
• Own the squad delivery: sprint shaping, prioritization, backlog grooming, and estimation
• Own cycle time and quality of deliverables; ensure on-call health
• Ship production code every sprint in the same codebase and workflows
• Represent the squad with cross-functional stakeholders across engineering, product, design, and security
• Drive operational excellence including audits, automation, and governance
