Job summary

Omada Health is hiring a Staff Software Engineer to expand our footprint in cardiometabolic care. You’ll own end-to-end architecture for new member- and care-team experiences, work primarily on the backend, and influence technical decisions across services.

You’ll collaborate closely with product, clinical, and cross-functional teams to ship reliable systems and deliver impact for our members. You’ll bring a strong backend foundation, learn fast, and apply AI-assisted tools to move from

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience writing readable, tested, and efficient code.
• Experience designing scalable, secure APIs.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure.
• Familiarity with LLMs and GenAI best practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with product, clinical, and cross-functional teams to turn vision into shipped product.
• Own architecture and technical direction end to end for new member- and care team-facing experiences.
• Apply broad technical judgment across languages, frameworks, and systems to guide delivery.
• Set the quality bar: clean, well-tested, scalable code.
• Lead and mentor engineers, remove ambiguity, ship fast.
• Set 6–12 month technical direction and identify high-value work.
