Job summary

Anthropic is seeking a Senior Staff Engineer to lead end-to-end development for Claude Science, shaping product and architecture in a new category. You will work with researchers, engineers, and product teams to turn scientific workflows into production-ready tools and frameworks.

You’ll drive technical direction, collaborate with domain experts, and own key outcomes that accelerate scientific progress across biology, chemistry, and physics.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience
• Ideally 2+ years at Staff or equivalent technical leadership level
• Built products from 0 to 1 in fast-moving environments
• Built AI products and know what it takes to turn model capabilities into usable applications
• Comfortable working with technical domain experts and translating learnings into engineering priorities
• Drive cross-team alignment to ship impactful work
