Job summary

Anthropic, a San Francisco–based AI safety company, seeks aSenior Staff Software Engineer who will lead end-to-end product development for Claude Science. You will partner with researchers to push model capabilities into production, shape roadmaps, and own critical shipping decisions.

You will interface with academic labs and industry teams, translating insights into engineering priorities and building scalable, reliable AI tools.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience
• Staff or equivalent technical leadership level
• Experience building AI products and turning model capabilities into applications

Responsibilities

• Ship fast against a roadmap you help shape in a category no one has defined yet
• Interface directly with scientists and research teams to translate learnings into engineering priorities
• Partner with product and design to turn scientists' workflows into shipped products
• Work with research to improve model capabilities and feed real-world feedback into development
