Job summary

Anthropic is seeking a seasoned software engineer to join its Claude Science team. You will lead end-to-end product and architecture decisions for a research-focused workbench used by scientists to accelerate discovery.

You will collaborate with internal research teams to push model capabilities into production, own critical technical directions, and shape the roadmap for tools that render complex data into actionable insights that advance AI science.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• 2+ years at a Staff or equivalent technical leadership level.
• Experience building AI products and turning model capabilities into real-world applications.

Responsibilities

• Ship fast against a roadmap you help shape.
• Interface directly with scientists during key conversations, translating learnings into engineering priorities.
• Partner with product and design to turn how scientists work into shipped product.
• Work closely with research to improve models and feed insights back into development.
