Job summary

Anthropic is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Claude Security team, building security capabilities in frontier models into reliable products. You will work across the full stack from prototype to production, collaborating with researchers, product managers, and customers to shape and deliver roadmaps.

The ideal candidate is a strong generalist with depth to engage with research and the instincts to know what to build next, including ownership of significant roadmap components.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required for the role.
• 7+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, Python, and Go with distributed systems experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship user-facing and/or backend features for Claude Security
• Build the agent loops, tool integrations, and enabling infrastructure for cybersecurity products
• Collaborate with product managers and go-to-market to understand user needs and scope features
• Iterate quickly based on user feedback and internal testing
• Partner with research teams to identify and develop model capabilities for security applications
