Job summary

Anthropic is hiring a Product Manager for Claude Science, overseeing a major area of the roadmap from discovery to delivery. You will work closely with researchers to define model capabilities, workflows, and enterprise-ready features, shaping the product direction with cross-functional teams.

You will thrive in ambiguity, uncover non-obvious use cases for nascent capabilities, and translate insights into shipped products that enable reliable, steerable AI for scientists and enterprises.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years in product management or equivalent leadership, including 0→1 initiatives.
• Advanced degree or hands-on research in biology, chemistry, physics, or related field, or software for scientists.
• Experience shipping products into life sciences or regulated environments is a plus.
• Strong user empathy, communication, and ability to work with researchers and engineers.

Responsibilities

• Own vision, strategy, roadmap, and execution for Claude Science area end-to-end.
• Synthesize researcher insights into clear priorities, requirements, and success metrics.
• Partner with research to define evals, surface failure modes, and feed back into model development.
• Coordinate across research, engineering, design, and go-to-market for launches.
• Define target domains, data sources, tools, and integrations to support Claude Science.
• Prototype ideas in Claude to validate before engineering time.
• Ensure enterprise-readiness, including security, compliance, and deployment controls.
• Prioritize ruthlessly across scientific domains and workflows to focus MVP vs ideal state.
