Spring Health is an NYC hybrid employer redefining mental health access through an AI-native platform. As Staff Software Engineer, you will shape architecture and AI-driven capabilities across UI, models, and governance, partnering with Product and Security to deliver scalable, responsible systems.

This role requires close collaboration with engineers, data teams, and business stakeholders in a fast-moving environment.

Formación

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong track record designing scalable software architectures.
• Experience with AI/ML workflows and governance is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Lead hands-on experimentation, evaluation, and production rollout of modern AI capabilities across platforms.
• Define and own team architecture, decomposing systems into components and tradeoffs.
• Establish guardrails for safe and responsible AI usage within the team.
• Drive best practices, eliminate tech debt, and prepare codebase for future roadmaps.
• Mentor engineers and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
