Blossom Health is hiring for a software engineer to build AI-native product experiences used by clinicians and patients in New York City. You will design and deploy LLM-powered systems that automate healthcare workflows, own features end-to-end, and continuously improve AI quality through rigorous evaluation and monitoring.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS or related field.
• 2+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience building and shipping LLM-powered applications in production.
• Fluent in Python and/or TypeScript.
• Experience with modern LLM APIs, agentic systems, tool calling, retrieval, or structured outputs.

Responsabilités

• Build and ship AI-native product experiences used directly by clinicians and patients.
• Design and develop LLM-powered systems and agents that automate and augment complex healthcare workflows.
• Own AI features end-to-end, from prototyping and experimentation through production deployment, evaluation, and iteration.
• Build robust evaluation, monitoring, and feedback systems to continuously improve AI quality, reliability, and performance.
• Work across models, prompts, tools, retrieval systems, and application infrastructure to solve real-world product problems.
• Move quickly from emerging AI capabilities to production-ready experiences that deliver measurable value.
• Collaborate closely with clinicians and engineers to understand complex healthcare workflows and determine where AI can have the greatest impact.
