Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Staff Engineer to lead the architecture, development, and scaling of core applications. You will bridge backend data systems, emerging AI capabilities, and frontend experiences to deliver robust dashboards and reliable microservices.

As a hands-on leader, you will mentor teams, champion DevOps, and drive AI-enabled features across the product suite while maintaining operational excellence and scalable cloud infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on full-stack development, system architecture, and scalable applications.
• Strong experience with modern JS/TS frameworks and data visualization libraries.
• Deep expertise in server-side languages and microservices design.
• Experience integrating AI models and APIs into software products.
• Familiarity with cloud, CI/CD, containers, and IaC.

Responsibilities

• Architect and lead end-to-end design of scalable web applications spanning frontend to backend services.
• Build rich dashboards and data visualizations surface complex insights.
• Develop secure, scalable APIs (REST, GraphQL) and data integration layers.
• Champion AI/ML capabilities in products and workflows.
• Drive DevOps, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD pipelines for rapid releases.
• Mentor engineers and set coding standards and best practices.
