Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Staff Engineer to lead architecture, development, and scaling of core applications. You will bridge backend data systems, emerging AI capabilities, and frontend experiences while mentoring engineering teams.

As a hands-on technical leader, you will design rich dashboards, build scalable microservices, and orchestrate data integrations with third-party systems. You will champion DevOps culture and embed AI features to automate workflows and derive intelligent insights.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with focus on full-stack development, system architecture, and scalable applications.

Responsibilities

• Architecture and Full Stack development: lead end-to-end design, architecture, and development of scalable web apps from frontend to backend services.
• Dashboarding and Data Visualization: architect and implement rich dashboards and UI surfaces for complex data insights.
• Backend and Data Integrations: design secure APIs and integration layers connecting diverse data objects, databases, and third-party platforms.
• AI Enablement: champion integration of AI/ML into core products and develop intelligent features to automate workflows.
• DevOps and Cloud: drive CI/CD pipelines, containerized deployments with Docker/Kubernetes, and IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation).
• Operational Excellence: establish monitoring, logging, and performance profiling; lead root-cause analysis.
• Technical Leadership: mentor frontend, backend, and DevOps engineers; shape the technical roadmap with product leadership.
• Self Starter: navigate ambiguity, ask questions, and deliver aligned solutions.
