Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering with staff-level scope.
• Ability to own ambiguous, high-stakes systems end-to-end.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools.
• Bias toward simple, lean engineering culture.
• Track record setting technical direction across teams.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and data platforms.
• Regulated-environment banking/fintech experience.
• Experience selecting and operating third-party platforms.
• Ability to communicate with executives and auditors.

Responsibilities

• Set long-term technical strategy for bank systems.
• Design and operate high-stakes stack components end-to-end.
• Lead code and design reviews; set coding standards.
• Ship AI-first capabilities across engineering functions.
• Lead vendor evaluation and integration across core stacks.
• Define integration boundary with affirm inc across teams.
• Ensure compliance by partnering with legal, risk, and audit.
• Oversee reliability, observability, and incident response.
• Mentor engineers and influence across organization.
