Job summary

Pearson is seeking a forward deployed engineer to embed with business units, turning ambiguous problems into working software. You will own end-to-end systems from data to deployment, shipping production AI applications and driving AI adoption across Pearson.

You will work directly with stakeholders, iterate quickly, and own the full stack. A strong CS foundation and multi-language backend experience are essential for this high-impact role.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of full-stack engineering experience.
• Strong CS fundamentals and system design.

Responsibilities

• Go where the problem is and build end-to-end systems for internal stakeholders.
• Engage in real discovery with users and translate needs into working software.
• Ship production AI applications using frontier LLMs, agents, and evaluation harnesses.
• Own frontend, backend, data, deployments, and observability.
