Job summary

Nubank is seeking a Staff Software Engineer for the Digital Experience Platform (DXP) to drive an AI‑native platform across design systems and code generation. You will shape architecture, govern the Figma‑to‑BDC pipeline, and partner with Product, Design, and Engineering leadership to scale the platform company‑wide.

You will lead the integration of AI agents, manage knowledge bases, and ensure quality at generation time, while mentoring teams and shaping a 6–18 month technical strategy.

Qualifications

• Genuine obsession with AI tools and workflows, daily hands‑on with LLMs and AI agents.
• Strong software architecture skills for multi‑component platform systems that tie AI into production workflows.
• Deep understanding of design‑to‑code pipelines and design systems bridging tooling and code generation.
• Practical experience with AI/LLM integration in software products: prompt engineering and agent orchestration.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional technical initiatives across multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills to translate architecture decisions for Product, Design and leadership.
• Product‑minded mindset balancing technical excellence with pragmatic delivery.

Responsibilities

• Architect the DXP Studio pipeline from Figma to BDC code generation with vendor‑agnostic abstractions.
• Lead AI agent integration and orchestration, define context management and execution environments.
• Own DXP Dictionary and knowledge architecture for Nubank‑aware agents.
• Drive cross‑platform integration with NuDS, BDC/Core, HPP, and App Excellence, defining clear contracts.
• Ensure quality at generation time with governance rules and automated checks.
• Set 6–18 month technical strategy translating bets into executable roadmaps.
• Mentor engineers and lead design reviews across DXP and partner teams.
