Job summary

Nubank is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to lead the technical architecture for a private AI banking platform. You’ll own from Flutter mobile apps to distributed backends, enabling real-time AI-driven personalization at scale across web and mobile.

You will collaborate with product, design, and data teams to drive a scalable, fault-tolerant solution, mentoring engineers and guiding architectural decisions across platforms and markets.

Qualifications

• Experience shipping complex, large-scale consumer mobile apps.
• Strong ownership of major product areas and architectural trade-offs.
• Experience with data pipelines and AI/ML outputs in UI.
• Leadership in technical initiatives and mentoring engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical architecture and design for the full-stack platform.
• Build Flutter mobile apps delivering conversational AI experiences.
• Design backend services powering recommendations and AI integration.
• Align roadmaps with product, design, and data teams.
• Mentor engineers and enforce engineering best practices.
• Own multi-platform unified user experiences across markets.
