CVS Health Digital is seeking a Staff Software Development Engineer who will act as both Technical Lead and Individual Contributor to build a next-generation platform for digital health solutions. You will create proofs of concepts, drive delivery excellence, partner with IT leaders, and help resolve complex issues to improve system performance.

You will design scalable solutions, participate in architecture discussions, and mentor junior developers while collaborating across teams to deliver

Qualifications

7+ years delivering enterprise solutions in large-scale distributed environments.
5+ years Java development experience.
5+ years with cloud computing technologies.
5+ years designing and developing modern microservices and APIs.
3+ years of CI/CD pipeline automation.
3+ years in Agile-based development.
2+ years of Generative AI experience.

Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable software solutions meeting business requirements and quality standards.
Contribute to solution design and architectural discussions with architects and senior engineers.
Provide input on performance optimization and scalability.
Participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards.
Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality code.
Mentor junior developers and share knowledge.
