Job summary

CVS Health Digital is seeking a Staff Software Development Engineer who will act as both a technical lead and individual contributor to build our next-generation platform. You will design scalable solutions, participate in architecture discussions, and drive delivery excellence across a team of engineers.

In this role, you will collaborate with business and IT leaders to create digital assets, provide RCA, and help ensure high-quality code.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in enterprise solution delivery in a large-scale distributed software design environment.
• 5+ years Java development experience.
• 3+ years CI/CD pipeline automation experience.
• 2+ years Generative AI experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience).

Responsibilities

• Design and implement efficient, scalable solutions that meet requirements and quality standards.
• Contribute to solution design and architecture discussions with architects and senior engineers.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure coding standards and best practices.
• Mentor junior developers and share knowledge within the team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teammates to deliver high-quality features.
