CVS Health is seeking a Staff Software Development Engineer to drive design and delivery of our next-generation digital platform. You will lead and contribute as both a technical lead and individual contributor, building scalable solutions that power health care initiatives and customer outcomes.

You will partner with architects and IT leaders to deliver digital assets, mentor junior engineers, and push for performance and reliability across microservices, cloud services, and AI-enabled features.

Qualificações

• 7+ years of experience delivering enterprise solutions in large-scale distributed environments.
• 5+ years of Java development experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on cloud initiatives and cloud computing technologies.
• 5+ years designing and developing modern microservices and cost-effective APIs.
• 3+ years of CI/CD pipeline automation.
• 3+ years in an Agile-based development environment.
• 2+ years of Agentic AI / Generative AI experience.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement efficient and scalable solutions that meet business requirements and quality standards.
• Contribute to solution design and architecture discussions with architects and senior engineers.
• Provide input on feasibility, performance optimization, and scalability to meet objectives.
• Participate in code reviews and uphold coding standards and best practices.
• Coordinate with teammates to align on decisions and share technical insights.
• Adopt new technologies and tools to improve productivity and code quality.
• Share knowledge through code reviews, tech talks, and workshops.
• Collaborate with developers to implement complex features and high-quality code.
• Mentor junior developers to grow their technical skills.
