You will architect and build AI-driven automation systems, spanning intelligent agents, orchestration, and guardrails to scale across the company. You will define architecture patterns and drive strategic roadmaps with engineering leadership, while mentoring others in system design for production-grade AI.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software engineering with distributed systems and shipping production AI/ML applications.
• Experience working with LLM-based applications, grounding, reducing hallucinations, and building guardrails for reliability.
• Deep expertise designing APIs, orchestration layers, and evaluation frameworks for agentic AI systems at scale.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build Agentic AI systems powering Coinbase's compliance automation and other operations.
• Design APIs and measurement frameworks to ensure grounded, relevant AI agents with minimal hallucination.
• Lead technical direction for distributed systems underpinning AI automation and define architectural roadmaps.
