Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Staff Engineer to lead architecture, development, and scaling of core applications. You will bridge backend data systems, AI capabilities, and frontend experiences to deliver intelligent insights and seamless user experiences.

As a hands-on leader, you will design dashboards, build microservices, and foster a DevOps culture with CI/CD, IaC, and cloud-native practices while mentoring teams toward operational excellence across the stack.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering with focus on full‑stack, architecture, and scalable apps.
• Experience with modern JS frameworks and state management for complex dashboards.
• Proficiency in server-side languages and designing scalable microservices.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases and data feeds integration.
• Hands-on AI model/API integrations and familiarity with AI orchestration frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end design and development of scalable web applications.
• Architect dashboards and data visualizations for complex insights.
• Design secure APIs and data integration layers with diverse data sources.
• Champion AI integration and automation of workflows.
