CVS Health is seeking a Staff Engineer to lead the architecture, development, and scaling of core applications, bridging complex backend data systems, emerging AI capabilities, and intuitive frontend experiences.

As a hands-on technical leader, you will design rich dashboards, build resilient microservices, and orchestrate integrations with data objects and third-party platforms, while championing DevOps and embedding AI-driven features to automate workflows and deliver insights.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering with a focus on full-stack, architecture and scalable apps.
• Proficiency with React/Angular/Vue and data viz libraries.
• Experience designing scalable microservices and APIs.
• Cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP) and CI/CD tooling.
• Familiarity with AI models and AI orchestration frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design and development of scalable web apps.
• Architect dashboards and data visualization interfaces.
• Build secure APIs and data integration layers.
• Embed AI features and orchestrate AI models in products.
• Drive DevOps, CI/CD, containers, and IaC.
• Mentor engineers and set technical standards.
• Translate vague requirements into concrete plans.
