CVS Health is seeking a Staff Engineer to lead architecture, development, and scaling of core applications. The role bridges backend data systems, AI capabilities, and frontend experiences while embedding AI-driven features to automate workflows.

You will design dashboards, build resilient microservices, and integrate with diverse data objects and third-party platforms. Mentors teams, defines standards, and guides product roadmaps across payer operations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with full-stack focus
• Experience with React/Angular/Vue and data visualization libraries
• Deep server-side language expertise and microservices design
• Relational and NoSQL databases, ORM experience
• Hands-on AI/ML integration with OpenAI/Anthropic and LangChain
• Cloud proficiency (AWS/Azure/GCP) and CI/CD tooling experience
• Strong communication skills and ability to outline architectural decisions

• Lead end-to-end design, architecture, and development of scalable web apps
• Build dashboards and data visualization surfaces for insights
