CVS Health is seeking a Staff Engineer to lead architecture and full-stack development for core applications. You will bridge backend data systems, AI capabilities, and intuitive frontend experiences while driving secure APIs and scalable cloud infrastructure.

You will mentor engineers, define standards, and collaborate with product leadership to shape the technical roadmap. The role emphasizes architecture, DevOps, and data visualization at scale.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on full-stack development.
• Experience designing scalable architectures for web apps and data-rich dashboards.
• Proficient in modern JS/TS frameworks and backend microservices.
• Experience with REST/GraphQL APIs and database integrations.
• Hands-on AI model integration and AI-ready architecture knowledge.
• Strong DevOps, cloud, CI/CD, containers and IaC experience.
• Excellent communication of technical decisions to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design and development of scalable web applications.
• Architect dashboards and data visualization surfaces for insights.
• Design secure APIs and data integration layers across systems.
• Incorporate AI/ML capabilities into core products and workflows.
• Advance complex orchestration, monitoring, and self-service tooling.
• Drive cloud-native delivery, CI/CD pipelines and IaC practices.
• Mentor engineers and shape the technical roadmap with leadership.
