Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Staff Engineer to lead the architecture, development, and scaling of core applications across frontend and backend systems. You will drive dashboards, data integrations, AI-enabled features, and robust DevOps practices while mentoring teams and shaping the technical roadmap.

You will bridge complex data systems with AI capabilities, build scalable microservices, and ensure high availability through cloud-native solutions and IaC.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on full‑stack development and scalable apps.
• Experience with modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks and data visualization libraries.

Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end design, architecture, and development of scalable web applications.
• Architect rich, interactive dashboards and data visualizations.
• Design and develop secure, scalable APIs and data integration layers.
• Champion AI/ML integration into core products to automate workflows.
• Build advanced MFT orchestrations and proactive monitoring.
• Drive CI/CD, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and IaC practices.
• Mentor frontend, backend, and DevOps engineers; shape technical roadmap.
• Collaborate with product leadership to align architecture with business goals.
