Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Staff Engineer to lead architecture, development, and scaling of core applications. You will bridge backend data systems with AI capabilities and intuitive frontends.

The role focuses on dashboards, microservices, and integrations with diverse data objects and third‑party systems. You will mentor teams and drive DevOps and cloud best practices while delivering measurable value for Payer operations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering with full‑stack focus.
• Expert in modern JS/TS frontend frameworks and data visualization.
• Deep server‑side expertise; scalable microservices and event‑driven arch.
• Experience with AI models/APIs and AI orchestration tools.
• Public cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) and CI/CD tooling expertise.
• Strong problem‑solving and ability to communicate architecture.

Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end design and development of scalable web apps.
• Architect dashboards and data visualizations for complex insights.
• Build secure APIs and integration layers with diverse data objects.
• Champion AI features and automate workflows across products.
• Drive DevOps, CI/CD, containerization, and IaC practices.
• Mentor engineers and shape the technical roadmap.
