CVS Health seeks a Staff Engineer to lead architecture, development, and scaling of core applications. You will bridge backend data systems, emerging AI capabilities, and intuitive frontend experiences.

As a hands-on leader, you’ll design rich dashboards, robust microservices, and deep integrations with data and third-party platforms. You will champion DevOps and embed AI-driven features to automate workflows and deliver intelligent insights.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with focus on full-stack development and scalable apps.
• Proficiency in modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks and data visualization libraries.
• Deep experience with server-side languages and scalable microservices architectures.
• Experience integrating complex data feeds and NoSQL/relational databases.
• Hands-on AI model and API integration into software products.
• Strong DevOps skills across CI/CD, containers, and IaC.
• Excellent communication and ability to explain architecture to both tech and business stakeholders.

• Lead end-to-end design, architecture, and development of scalable web applications.
• Architect and implement dashboards and intuitive user interfaces for data insights.
• Design secure, scalable APIs and data integration layers with diverse systems.
• Champion AI-enabled features to automate workflows and synthesize data.
• Drive DevOps and cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, containers, and IaC practices.
• Mentor frontend, backend, and DevOps engineers; establish coding standards.
• Handle ambiguity and collaborate with stakeholders to shape the technical roadmap.
